NewsNEW SERVICES FOR OLDER CLIENTS John Barkers have recently taken action to radically upgrade their services to elderly clients. Their wills and probate departments in the firms Grimsby office is moving downstairs and front of shop. At Cleethorpes, where John Barkers is the oldest firm of solicitors remaining in St Peters Avenue, the department will also be developed. In addition, John Barkers have trained three young solicitors to augment and support the work of their senior Probate partners Jim Needley and Paul Brewer. The team are already very busy indeed. In addition the firms family department have linked up with the Grandparents Association and been trained to provide advice to those experiencing difficulty in seeing their grandchildren or assisting in their care. In many cases free or low cost advice may well be available. To facilitate this change, with effect from close of office hours on Friday 6th January, the firm have transferred their property sales business to Turner Evans Stevens who provide an excellent service to customers in N.E. Lincs. Continuity of service will be provided by Property Services Manager Jacqui Wells who is also moving to TES. All legal work will continue to be provided by the growing team at John Barkers. |
