Here are some answers to common questions
What will I have to pay?
Nothing. Some people have Legal Expenses Insurance which will meet the cost. Others enter a NO WIN NO FEE AGREEMENT and we GUARANTEE YOU 100% of your damages.
How long will my claim take?
If your case is straight forward likely time scales are 6 to 12 months. Obviously the more complex cases involving serious injuries can take longer, possibly several years.
How long after the accident can I claim?
Usually up to 3 years but in certain circumstances it can be 3 years from the date of knowledge or diagnosis if you were not originally aware the accident had caused your symptoms.
The accident happened at work. Is my employer liable?
In most cases yes, but this will depend (amongst other things) on where it happened, whether or not you were carrying out your duties, had you been given training, proper tools and equipment. The employer has a duty to keep you safe in the work place and give you proper equipment to do the tasks they expect of you and competent co workers.
I'm off work and only getting Statutory Sick Pay(SSP). Can I claim for loss of earnings?
Yes, if your time of is due to your accident you can usually claim the difference between your SSP and what you would normally receive.
