About Us

John Barkers Solicitors have been established in the Grimsby and Lincolnshire area since 1884, having been founded by Mr John Barker himself. We are proud to say that we are one of the longest established firms in the region. The firm still uses the name of the original founder whose son was also engaged in the business until 1961.

Today there are three offices (at Grimsby, Louth and a meeting room in Mablethorpe), employing approximately 60 staff.

Over recent years the firm has invested considerable resources in modern technology which is widely used across all areas of the firm.

We aim to provide a professional, efficient and friendly service in all departments.

We have a Legal Aid Agency Funding Contract and are able to provide publicly funded advice and representation in various areas of legal service. Please contact us to discuss whether your particular legal need may be covered by ‘legal aid’.
