Overview
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit two Administrative Assistants to join our busy and friendly teams in Grimsby and Louth on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent administrative support. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for someone looking to begin a career in the legal sector or further develop their existing administrative experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the onboarding of new clients.
- Carry out Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and compliance checks.
- Provide general office and administrative support across the practice.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, documents and filing.
- Provide administrative support to solicitors and legal teams.
- Maintain accurate client records and update internal systems.
- Assist with scanning, photocopying, document preparation and file management.
- Handle telephone enquiries and direct clients to the appropriate department.
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
Skills and Experience
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous legal or office administration experience is an advantage but not essential.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
